I know this is a
little soon for my yearly blog post but sometimes you just have to change things up a bit. For example, I don't photograph weddings. That's my first set of guidelines, words to live by, rules... I won't do it. I put my foot down unless you're my sister, my cousin or someone who introduces yourself to me as an anti-bride. Once Emily said that, my reaction was to keep listening. I'm so glad I did.
Emily and Trice were awesome to work with. They had a small ceremony at Tiny's No. 5 and everything was so pretty. It all looked perfect. I showed up a little early to get a feel for the space. At the last minute I started to worry about what if Emily wasn't really an anti-bride but once I met them, any doubt flew out the window. They were super sweet, totally laid back and really made me rethink the whole "no wedding" rule. I had a lot of fun with them and I'm so glad that not only she asked, but that I made an exception my rule and did it.
Here's a few from their day.
Congratulations to the newlyweds and again, I'm so thankful to have been asked to photograph their day.
Such beautiful wedding photos of a beautiful couple!
I got goose bumps looking at her pictures. You need to break the rules more often.... after all I have another daughter getting married and you would be PERFECT for us. We are anti-wedding people, just for the record.
Your new rule should be, "No weddings unless you're laid back and not a bridezilla". The pictures look fantastic!
